Karen Macdonald is the station manager and news director at Global News for Quebec. A graduate of Concordia University’s Communication Studies department, she worked as a newspaper and television reporter and previously served as the news director for Global News in both Quebec City and Montreal. She is the recipient of the Quebec City YWCA Women of Merit Award in Communications, the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for Community Service, and the RTDNA Lifetime Achievement Award.  Karen is the chair of the Foundation of Greater Quebec. A lifetime volunteer, she has served on numerous non-profit boards.
