Gina is a Queer, Métis labour movement leader, activist, and facilitator engaged in the regional, national, and international labour movement. She strives to be a dynamic and collaborative labour leader and brings this passion to her volunteer work in the labour movement with the MB Federation of Labour, the Winnipeg Labour Congress, the Canadian Labour Congress, and with many coalitions and committees throughout MB. Gina is the President of Manitoba’s largest public sector Union, CUPE Manitoba, and elected Equity VP for 2SLGBTQI+ workers at the Canadian Labour Congress. Gina is currently on secondment to CUPE Manitoba from her role as Labour Director at United Way Winnipeg on Treaty 1, in Manitoba.
