It is with great sadness and condolences to his family that United Way Centraide Canada mourns the passing of Dennis Alfred Jackson.

Dennis was a pivotal community leader and champion of United Way Centraide. From 2015-2017, Dennis chaired the United Centraide Canada Board, and served as a Director on the Board from 2010-2019. Prior to this, Dennis served on the Board of United Way East Ontario, including as Chair of the Board from 2008 to 2010.

Dennis was recognized in 2010 with a United Way Community Builder Award for his exemplary work across our community. And in 2019, Dennis received a lifetime achievement award from Volunteer Ottawa for his three decades of volunteer and community service.

The United Way Centraide network is stronger because of Dennis’ contribution and leadership.
