Serena leads communications, marketing and branding initiatives aimed at strengthening United Way Centraide Canada’s reputation and positioning as Canada’s leading national network of community impact experts. She has over 20 years of experience in progressive brand strategy and marketing communications roles, including leading the development and execution of high-impact awareness, reputation, and revenue-building initiatives for brands like Johnson & Johnson, Clorox, Frito-Lay, Apple, Nokia, and Bell. Serena’s not-for-profit experience includes leadership roles at Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada and Plan International Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Mount Allison University
